Today the roofer Tom & Kevin from Resco Roofing & Renovation came to continue on my roof.
Here’s the skylights. The larger one is Velux VCE 3030 electric powered skylight. There are two of them, one for the bathroom and one for the recreation area on the 2nd floor. The smaller one is Velux FCM 2222 fixed skylight. There’s three of them that will go right on top of the front open section.
This is the shade for the Velux VCE 3030 skylights. They are light block shades. I also ordered solar powered blind, which will open and close these shades via remote, but it will not be here until the end of May.
Also finally this is the correct scupper. It’s 7″ x 7″ x 19″ with a 2″ flange. So the scupper will sit about 2″ above the deck. This way the two scuppers are backup scuppers and should not have water flowing through them unless the roof drain is blocked.
At the end of the day, the roof on the 3rd floor is now completely finished. The cap sheets are all torched down.
Tomorrow they will continue on the rest of the roof.
