EIFS installation day 8

Day 8 of EIFS installation. Today the base coat is being applied to the now flat and smooth surface. They put a fiberglass mesh on the surface and apply Flexcrete to create that cementitious surface. This is the south-east corner.

This is the north-east corner. The one that has foam board butt-joints with Roxul board clad non-combustible wall.

For this angle, you can see the meshes embedded in the Flexcrete surface.

At the end of the day, more than 50% of the house is coated with a base coat. Here’s the front of the house. The second floor still needs to be worked on.
