Abdul B Molla from Advanced Electrical Company started doing electrical rough in work today.
There are a few things that are different about this house. First is that a GFI outlet is installed near every toilet. This is so that I can install electrical bidet seats on the toilets. Here you can see the outlet in the basement bathroom.
This house will also be fully automated. All the dimmers and switches will be Z-Wave enabled. And so I want them to install plastic boxes for the switches to maximize signal output. This is the switch near the basement stair opening, I will need them to be changed.
Another thing special for this house is inside this room which is the computer server room. I will have a 30 AMP outlet installed in the left inside corner for the computer servers. Then there’s one regular receptacle installed on the left side close to the hall way. There’s one more receptacle installed on the right side close to the outside wall. That one will be used for the portable air conditioner that will keep this room cool. This room will also be on a dedicated circuit separated form the rest of the house.
This is inside the computer room.
Around the basement recreation area, a number of receptacles are being installed. Two against the east wall.
Two more on the south wall.
One more on the east side of the recreation area and here’s where the dimmers will be for the lighting control.
Here you see the lines being ran for the recessed lighting for the recreation area.
