Schluter systems day 1

Did some work to put the Schluter System’s KERDI boards up. I’ve got the shower niche installed as well and the shower pane cut to size. The KERDI boards are secured using special washers for the KERDI boards and screws onto the stud.

Here’s where the new drain will be located to. With the linear drain, the drain can be located to the side of the shower.

In the basement, I got the back wall boarded up and the show niche secured.

The next day I added the top and the top of the side wall of the basement shower area. But I didn’t secure the side for the outlet because the plumbers will have to come and finish the outlets first.

The ceiling in the Schluter System bathroom is secured using the same washers, just in a tighter pattern.
