Continue to put up the plastic sheet needed to hold the Roxual Safe’n’Sound in place all around the interior wall. We are only putting the plastic sheet on a single side to avoid trapping moisture inside the wall. Here’s the first floor powder room.

Another thing we are doing is to install these Simpson Strong-tie insulation supports.

Why do you need insulation support? Well if the insulation or soundproofing material drops overtime, it will be less effective. So we are using these insulation support to make sure the insulation or soundproofing material stay where it is. Here’s what it looks like installed.

As you can see the Roxual Safe’n’Sound now is safely held up by these metal wires. There won’t be much sagging here.
