Finished up all the needed plastic sheets for the interior soundproofing.
More electrical work. This time we are adding low voltage lines for the HRV control and the furnace control. This is the main HRV control just outside of the mechanical room in the basement.
More electrical works. The low voltage run for the speakers are now completed. I have ran 2 set of wires to the left and to the right. Two more set to the back on the wall but most likely they are not going to be used as there’s no space for actual surround speakers and two more sets of wires into the ceiling for in-ceiling surround speakers.
Some more electrical works today. Here’s speaker wires ran to low voltage brackets on the wall. Trying to finish up the electrical work and pass the inspection before the spray foam starts. Here you can see all the supply wires are installed to the panel. More electrical work this weekend. Missing conduit and low voltage bracket in the living room is installed. More low voltage conduits work today. This is how the conduit on the 3rd floor goes down into the basement. The conduit is flexible, making the installation a bit easier. More electrical rough in work today. Since I removed the soffit last weekend, the wires for the soffit lights are now ran. Electrical work continues. This is the switch in the kitchen which will control 3 independent set of lights in the combine kitchen / family room area. Electrical rough in continues today. A few wire are run for the exterior connections. This one is for the exterior connection on the balcony. Due to the steel beams, this wire has to run from downstairs just in front of the currently framed walls. But since the wall is still being strapped out by 1.5″, this shouldn’t be an issue. |
